And if you want to stay within Word, use alt F6 to switch between documents.

  Hi Gene,

You can switch back and forth between documents or windows using alt + tab
but,not control + tab. Hope this helps. Take care.

I am probably off topic, but, I'll ask my question anyway.

In earlier versions of MsWord, I thought more than one document could be
opened at a time and the user could switch between documents by using CTRL+Tab.
Well, I don't know if that was an MsWord function or a JAWS function, but, it
doesn't seem to work with JAWS 9 and MsWord 2003. Would someone mind
refreshing my memory? Don't hesitate to answer off list if I've gone
out-of-bounds.

Thanks in advance for your help.
