Hi Ann,
What I am trying to do is actually place text in colum two. I do not have
enough text in colum one to fill the page, but I need to put more text in
the second colum. I can not get it to go over there no matter what I try.
Thank you for your help.
I do remember there is a shortcut for jaws to go over into colum two, but
can not find it anywhere! Right now it is a blank colum, but I have to add
text to it.
Thank you for any help you could provide!

If you're in Word, be sure you are in normal view. Then JFW will
read the second column as though it were an extension of the first.
the other thing you can do is go to the bottom of the first column
with the JAWS cursor, then alt-right arrow to the second.
another way to get there is go to the first column with the JAWS
cursor, right arrow to the second, and rout JAWS to Pc.
Remember that if the first column spans more than one page, JAWS will
folow it down to the next page--unless you do the things mentioned
above--instead of going to the second column.
