thanks Ricque for your favourable response. i prefer very much to use this familiar xp sound recorder. though lacking some of the advance features, it's good enough to meet my minimum audio editing needs.
i'll sure check your page later for a better insight. PS:yeah, i remember vaguely now that long ago someone suggested to record your audio file over an existing .wav file, the size will depend on your existing .wav audio, of course, and you can do your sound editing from there. in this way, you can trick sound recorder to record as long as you wish. you need not worry of its one minute timelimit anymore.
