Hi,
It's been some time since I used Pest Patrol, but my recollection is that it
can be used with speech effectively with JAWS, though you may need to do
some "mousing around" with the JAWS cursor. It did a really good job of
getting rid of spyware/adware/malware that Spybot and Adaware just couldn't
kill.

Hello
You mention that a program called Pest Patrol, told you of all kinds of
trouble with your computer. So it sounds like this program Pest Patrol,
tells of any add aware and spyware annoying files on a computer system, is
this what Pest Patrol is good for? Do you find it is a very safe program
to use and it doesn't cause any problems for your computer? Do you find
that it is quite jaws user friendly? and does it do a good job of
detecting spyware and ad aware files on your computer and then help in
getting rid of them? If you can please help me out with these concerns
about this program Pest Patrol, I would be very much appreciative. Thanks
muchly in advance.
Kindest regards,
Hank Merchant Jr.

Hi,
I may check out Winmx per the suggestion below. However, I'm very
concerned about whether or not such programs have spyware/adware in them,
as I like to keep my system free of that kind of junk. Are there
particular packages to avoid for that reason? I ask this not only for
myself, but for my customers who are interested in music sharing
software. I don't like the idea of recommending something to them which
might be risky. My girlfriend's daughter installed some sort of music
sharing software, I forget which, and I got this frantic call saying that
the system was freaking out big time. Indeed, the system was extremely
squirrely, and trying to get JAWS under control with all the pop-ups
going on was a real drag. When I checked out the machine using Pest
Patrol, literally thousands upon thousands of problems were found and it
took me hours to clean up the mess. It's not something I'll soon forget.
