Hi Amber, msn 7 some what works with jaws. I use jaws 5.1 so I am kind of
assuming that it works the same or maybe a bit better with version 6.1, but
don't hold me to it. I am using msn 7. Basically it isn't too bad. You can
still use the alt 1 through alt 0 to read through your messages that you get
in a conversation window. Sometimes jaws will read the message that someone
has sent you automatically if you are in the conversation window. Sometimes
it won't. When it doesn't that's when you use your alt plus 1 thrugh 0. I've
also found that if you make sure the conversation window is maximized this
will help. I like the sending nudge feature. I don't know how to send the
nudge, but if someone sends you a nudge, you will hear a neat sound, and
jaws will tell you so and so has sent you a nudge. I've also noticed that
there is something called msn today. This may have been in msn 6.2. You can
shut this off in msn 7 by going into options under general, and I think you
check the checkbox. It is the opposite of whatever the default setting is.
So if it is checked by default then uncheck it. I did this, but now I can't
remember which way it was be default.
