Tom, I tried this, also out of curiosity. Does not work. I get "nothing selected" even though it announces I'm on the address bar. Neither F4 nor Alt+d works. They do work in IE but not in Windows Explorer. Is it possible tat I also need to have Windows Explorer appearing as a web page, and not as "Windows Classic"? I just tried the F4 function key while in a directory with .exe files. It didn't bring up any path information. Do I need to be in FS Explorer to do this? Or can I do this from any folder in Windows XP? You can do this from any folder list view in XP, but you must have the address bar visible first. To make the address bar visible, open the View menu, then open the Toolbars sub-menu. Arrow down to Address Bar and press Enter. You should then be able to use f4 to access the address bar, or alt+d will work, too. Hope that helps. BTW, JAWS should read this stuff just fine. Tom
