It is supposed to, if you can initiate a full "deep scan", but no single spyware cleaner gets more than about 50% of known spyware according to a recent review. When they combined 2 (this MS one and SpyBot search and destroy were the best combo), they got about 70%. Your antivirus software should also be used as it can get some (AVG antivirus is pretty good if you want a free antivirus program).
