don't bet on it, Richard. 
I contacted FS to say that five didn't read access 97 as well as 4.5 and was 
told that all development work on that had stopped. They said I should get a 
more modern version. The idea that we get more modern programmes to suit the 
screen reader is tails wagging dogs as we say in Scotland.

   I have Access 2000.  Versions of JAWS after 4.51 have problems with Access.
  It is tough to do anything in design view in Access.  I would contact F.S.
  and give them a complete discription of your problem. Hopefully, they will
  be able to find a solution.
