hi Russ,
you select any icon in the start menu, press application key or contacts key
(as you understand), cursor up twice or three times to get "sort by name"
then press enter on it.
you should now get the start menu in alphabetical order. this steps can be
use if you use windows classic start menu but for windows xp style, i'm not
sure.
