MS Word Question

Hi Everyone,
In Word 2003, can anyone tell me how to turn off mark up in the view menu
permanently? I hate having to ALT + V and A everytime I go in to a word
document. When mark up is checked it makes JAWS read the document incorrectly.
Thanks, I am always forgetting to turn it off and it gets very annoying.
