Does it matter what IPOD you have? Will it work on the small ones like
the Nano?

Try the Ipod withRockbox loaded on it (has speech)

Stream from Humanware are very accessible, if expensive, MP3 players.
Note that Rockbox works on a bunch of different players,
including the Sansa, which is a bit cheaper than an Ipod. My experience
is with an Ipod,though, and it works well there without vision. -Brian
