Hello

I like to use Steganos LockNote.

It is a free utility that I find works very well.

Go here:

Best of luck

I am not sure if you are looking for basic protection for all of your info or
if you want to just secure specific files.

For starters you can turn on the password function for each individual user on
XP. This is done via the control panel and users settings.

This will slow down your average computer user but it certainly is not a secure
method as there are a couple back door methods into the protected folders.

If the banking info you are looking to protect is in microsoft office format
you can also put passwords on individual files. This option may be available
for other software, but I use office and am most familiar with that.
