use jawskey + numpad8 to get the current line number.Jaws used to give that number whenever you pressed J, but it now seems that you have to ask.
jump works on any html type page at any time.----- Original Message ----- From: "Morey Worthington" <mossback7569@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Yes...another brain fade.I know that when on a web page a person can press the "J" key to move the cursor to a certain line on the web page. Now the question.....how do I find out which line I am on or where I am on the web page so that I may use this function to move around? Thanks, Morey PS..Using Vista and newest version 9 of Jaws. Thanks. -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
