Hi Nermin. This is exactly what I use. I bought a Toshiba 80gb hard drive,
and slapped it in. It works great. I think the rockbox team is working on
the Ipod now. I can't wait to see how that works.

Hi all,
I am using the Archos Jukebox Recorder 20, with an extended 80 GB harddrive.
The good thing about this device, it has an alternative Firmware providing
speech access to menus and directories, a built in microphone, and you can
record from analog and digital sources in MP3 format.
Unfortunately, the Recorder 20 is not manufactured anymore, but chances of
getting it on ebay are quite good.
The device works with standard rechargeable batteries.
I think newer models such as the Ondio by Archos also use the Rockbox
alternative firmware, and rockbox even works on some Iriver models.
The Jukebox is connected to the USB port with a kable, and then you can move
files to it just as you would with any other usb drive.
Regards,
Nermin
