I think the list itself has to be set up that way. I'm on some
lists that are set up so that control R goes to the individual
poster, and control shift R replies to the whole list. From what
y'all are saying, insert shift R is the same as control shift R?

That didn't work either; it still replies to the whole group.

Actually, on a PC keyboard, the insert key you want is on the
numpad. Try the combination with that insert key instead of the
one you identify to see if the reply to sender command works for
you, too.

Insert key is the same as Jaws key--the first key in a row of
three containing insert, home and page up. This is the top row
of two rows located between the arrows and the three keys to the
right of the function keys. The said key combination on my
system does the same thing as control+r. Normally it replies
only to the original sender, but if the sender is in a group list
it replies to the whole group list.

The command to reply directly to someone in a list is insert
plus shift plus r.

I tried that but it still replies to the whole group, just
like control+r or control+shift+r. You'll just have to go the
long route I described earlier.

You could try the JAWS command for reply directly to
sender: JAWS key+shift+r. Otherwise, each email program has its
own method for helping you identify a sender's address. It isn't
consistently reliable.

Thanks for the info. And how do we reply to someone
off-list---Some people put their personal e-mail in the list
message; others do not. Didn't know if I was once again missing
something.

        Hi,

If you need a new watch, talking or Braille, I would
suggest you visit the following site:

        http://www.futureaids.com

Their prices are very good and they do not charge for
shipping.

Several folks on another list have replied to me saying
that they have used this company and that the products are as
advertised and the return policy is also good.

        Hi List,

My Braille and talking watches are dead. I'm ashamed to
say I can't remember how to find out what time it is using my
computer, which has JAWS 11 with Windows 7. I remember at one
time many moons ago control t got me the time, but someone must
have set that up for me. Can someone help?

        Thank you in advance.
