What about uninstalling JAWS 9, including shared components, then reinstall. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: CH9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 Klango: chrishallsworth FTP: ftp://blindsoftware:ilovecracks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Website: www.chrishallsworth.co.nr----- Original Message ----- From: "Shane W" <shane-jfw@xxxxxx>

Hi, Tried this with no effect. Also, when I did the repair install, I did say yes to the purge user settings question. I also tried removing Jaws 10 entirely, no change. Very strange indeed. However, today Jaws is now reading the document position whenever I arrow or backspace. So on a downarrow for example I get: "1 inch from left, 1.34472 inches from top" followed by the line of text. Anoying to say the least. I tried a repair install of Jaws, tried deleting the current_user\software\microsoft\office\12 key from the registry to clear office settings, no joy. I did install the Jaws 10 beta today just to play with but as I am not licensed for 10, it runs in demo mode. The 10 beta does not exhibit this problem though. Can anyone suggest a recourse here? Did installing j10 somehow break my working 9.0 installation? Moving in Excel and other text editors works as expected.
