Jaws with adobe

Hi, I am using
adobe 7.0, jaws 6.0 and windows Ex P. I am trying to read a PDF document but
I can't get jaws to read it. I have
adobe set up for screen reading software but I don't know what I am now
doing wrong. I have tried it with a few different documents but still no
luck. The only way I can read a document in
adobe is using it's reader but I can't stand the voice and I can't find any
way of changing it.
I hope some one can help because most of my Jaws skills are self taught so I
need all the help I can get.
