There are always multiple public betas in a public beta cycle. That's the way public beta cycles work: beta one comes out, people report bugs. They try to fix them. Then beta two comes out, and people give it the once-over, and so on.

I thought 7.1 itself is a public Beta update, not a finished, official

thought their intention was to put the Beta out there for people to try out,
collect comments, and then eventually release a formal update 7.1, which
would remain more or less the same for months. Is this the wrong idea?
thanks.

Subject: Jaws updates, none yet it looks like

Hi all on list:

When I use the new auto update feature in jfw 7.1 I'm told that I have the
latest version. I guess to date there are no further updates since almost 3
weeks ago, I'm a bit surprised because I thought there would have been at
least one by now. Not complaining at all; just making an observation.
