Hello, is there a command line switch with which I can load Jaws, depending on which sound card I want to use? When I'm doing sound editing, I want to be able to do this without Jaws blaring while I'm doing small edits and listening to the file. The way I have it set now is to have my primary sound card be the onboard one, which is connected to a separate set of speakers. Sometimes, however, I'd like Jaws to be played on the same set of speakers as Winamp. I don't know how the BIOS settings were before, but one time Jaws would load up on the onboard card upon startup, but when I'd unload it and reload, it would load on the SB Live card, so I had the best of both worlds. I can't figure out how that got done, but the new version of Sound Forge was installed and messed up those settings. It appears that Jaws is the only program which does not let you specify which sound card you'd like to use. If anyone has a command line switch they could give, I'd appreciate it. This way, I can set up a new hot key, depending on how I'd like Jaws to be loaded. Thanks a lot. Matthew Tired of HotMail? Try Runbox. 1 gig of storage for a reasonable price.
