HI Jack,

In my computer environment you have to tell Jaws to use the Sapi5
synthesiser. Then in the global or individual voice options found in the
Jaws options, you configure the voices EG pc cursor voice, Jaws cursor voice
etc choosing the SAPI synthesiser as the person to use for the particular
jaws voice. I believe that the realspeak synths show up as scansoft Jane
and scansoft Jennifer. At least they do on my computer. I am running Jaws6
and openbook 7.02. I think if you have older versions of openbook,
therefore older versions of realspeak they may show up as sapi4 synthesisers
and therefore will be detected by Jaws by using the auto sapi4 synthesiser
detection feature.

I have the AT And T natural voices so for PC cursor voice I have Mike16 as
the person. Jaws Cursor is Crystal16, Message Voice is Scansoft Jennifer
alias realspeak Jennifer.

Hi chevelle,

I do have them installed. They installed with open Book 7.02. I just don't

know if I can access them with Jaws. Jack
