The responsiveness with the real speak voices is greatly improved. Still a slight lag, but much, much better than was previously. Unfortunately, the issues I've been experiencing with firefox are still there. Duplicate links in the Google Reader rss updates instead of link, rss title and then the short summary. Also, that annoying delay in speech responsiveness is also still there when using Firefox and Jaws. I was hoping that this update would address those two problems and I even wrote FS about them and was told that the issue was given to a "senior specialist" but I havent' heard back from them and no fix for these two problems with this latest update. Oh well. They did fix that terrible problem with you always losing your place in firefox if you move focus away from the browser window for whatever reason. If only they'd address that jaws responsiveness and duplicate link thing, I'd kiss off IE all together. It's only been since Jaws 10 that these two items have been noticeable to me. A lot of the other Jaws fixes, well, I can't say they really apply to what I do day in and day out so not much benefit for me in particular. Nevertheless, I'm glad to see that updates for problems are being issued faster. At least in this instance anyway. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dave Carlson Sent: Monday, March 30, 2009 10:30 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Jaws Update released! Call me dubious, but I'll wait for JAWS 11. Too many bad memories with JAWS 10.
