Re: Jaws Menu

The menu, or the jaws main interface, is coming up because you're running
Jaws from the Toolbar, same as a program like Word or Outlook Express. If
you want it to remain hidden unless you deliberately reveal it, go to the
basics menu and check Automatically Start jaws.

Next, reboot your computer. Jaws will now be in the startup group, the
programs that launch during boot-up. And Jaws will be running not from the
Task Bar but from the System Tray. If you do want to bring up its menus (as
opposed to the configuration menus, which you invoke differently), you just
press Insert F11 and arrow through the list of running program until you
find it, then hit Enter. Or just press Insert J, which will also put up the
interface.

hope that helps.

Subject: Jaws Menu

Hello all, using Jaws 6.0 and XP home I often when doing a alt tab to =
bring the Jaws window into focus the menu for Jaws will come up. It's as =
if I hit the alt key when Jaws is in focus. Is there a way I can set it =
up so that when I alt tab the menu won't come up.
