Jeff,
Have you checked the verbosity settings for JAWS in the configuration
manager? For example, making sure that the Application Start Message is
checked?

Subject: Jaws And Microsoft Outlook
Hello everyone. I have Windows Vista Home Premium, Microsoft Office 2007,
and Jaws 9.0 on my computer. When I go to open Outlook 2007, the program
will open just fine, but Jaws doesn't tell me that Outlook is opening. I've
been experiencing this problem for quite some time and am wondering if
anyone knows what I can do to fix it. Any help will be very much
appreciated.
