Is your PC an older model? IE 9 has this thing called hardware accelaration.
Basically what it does is that it makes your processor works twice as fast
when encountering graphics and videos. You can turn this off in IE 9
settings and see what happens. In my case I have been using IE 9 since the
beta and I am happy that I did. I really hated IE 8. But now IE has become
my default browser.

Hi all. I recently installed the latest Jaws update and IE 9. Since I did
this, I have found Jaws and the internet very sluggish. The internet is
taking longer than usual to open, and when I arrow up and down my menus, or
try and type in a form, Jaws is taking a long time to respond. I tried
reinstalling both Jaws and IE 9 but nothing helped. Is there anything I can
try doing that might fix this problem?
