Unfortunately, that particular bug has not been squashed. I was certainly
hoping that it would be, but no joy! The work-around for me is to tap Control
to stop speech before I press the Delete key. JAWS then speaks "message
deleted" and goes on to read the next message.

delete key, ever so offten the next message doesn't read, causing you to have
to hit the escape then hit enter on the message (in the inbox) been fixed in

      Chris,

I knew this option and sure it helps but why in the other previous
options, I didn't have to do it?
Has the default of the Oe.jcf been changed by FS in the beta version?

      Anyway, much thanks

        In Outlook Express:
        1. Press JAWS Key 6 to open configuration manager and load the Outlook
Express.jcf file.
        2. Press alt s to open the set options menu, then press a. The Advanced
Options dialogue box appears.
        3. Tab until you hear, "Use Virtual PC Cursor Check Box Checked", and
press space to uncheck it.
        4. Tab to OK and press enter, or just simply press enter on that check
box.
        5. Either save the file immediately with control s, or press alt F4 to
get out of Configuration Manager, pressing enter on the prompt to save changes.
        Hope that helps.

          Hi friends,

I've installed Jaws9.0.399 Beta and when I use OE6 in Win XP PRO and
open a new message in the edit of the message I have to press: insert+z for
going to "use virtual pc cursor off" only then, I can edit my message and see
my Braille letters on my Braille display.
          I didn't have to do insert+z
in the previous Jaws, Jaws 8 or Jaws 7, that I still have.
What can I do and maybe I can change the default in OE6 for the
virtual pc cursor.

          Any help is appreciated.
BTW, I don't see another problems, in Jaws 9 Beta; not now.
