When messages about this appeared on the list when others were first installing Jaws 8, I crossed my fingers and hoped nothing like this would happen to me, too when I finally installed it. Well, I have, and it has. I'll be writing an email message, with my window maximized, just to be sure it's clear that this isn't relevant), and as I try to edit and reread what I've been typing, Jaws will sometimes blank out and not speak some of the words, until I get tied up in knots trying to clean up the message and finish it. I think others were discussing this a month ago or so. What's the thing to do? Just in case someone thinks I'm using the wrong type of characters (that's never been a problem for me before; text or HTML alike have behaved just fine, before now), I'm sending out messages in plain text only.
