It was the UNBF Library page, e-resources that generated a slow response
time, but I just checked again and this no longer seems to be the case.
Must have been something with my computer at the time, perhaps other
processes running, who knows.
JAWS 7.1 does seem to be responsive.
When using 7.0 I frequently had a crash of JAWS when I got the screen
telling me I was entering or leaving a secure site, not always, but
frequently. Since I have started using 7.1 beta and now with the 7.1
release I no longer have this problem which has made life easier as I do a
lot of research.

On a slightly positive note, my eliquence synth seems to have less
popping in the sound on 7.1 than it has on 7.0. Not sure why but its nice.
Also the responsivness seems better too.
Using a creative labs audigy 2.
