Also I'm surprised noone has mentioned the difference in SMA price
between Jaws standard and pro.

I'm still not sure why you went from JAWS standard to pro? I mean, if
you're using windows xp professional then yes, you need the proper
authorization from FS to get this to work. If you have JAWS 7.0 and
windows
xp home, why not just download and install the proper version of JAWS 7?
That's JAWS standard, 7.0.

The direct link for that is
ftp://ftp.freedomscientific.com/users/hj/private/WebFiles/JAWS/J7.00.135U_ILM.exe
You should also not need sighted assistance to install JAWS, the
instalation program will speak you through the instalation. I'm guessing
you either had a faulty instalation, perhaps a sighted person was
unfamiliar with JAWS and didn't know what they were doing, but either
way,
a definite re-install is what needs to happen.
