I don't use JAWS with braille, but would a workaround be the Windows key+m
or Windows key+d shortcut to return focus to the desktop?

Otherwise, I suggest you contact FS's tech support either for help or to
alert them to the problem.

Subject: Jaws 12: Can I store cursor restriction settings per application?

Hi all,

When I am on the windows desktop, (xp pro sp3), navigating with the braille
display, I can easily go from top to bottom until the display reaches the
taskbar. At this point, if I want to be able to go up back to the desktop
content, I need set "braille cursor restriction" to "none". In other word, I
must press the <RestrictBrailleCursor> key, (assigned to a special key
combination on my braille display) until I hear "Braille: unrestricted".

Is there a way to "sotre" this setting for the desktop?

I tried pressing <jawskey+6> to call the settings center. In the search
field, I tried typing "restrict" but the result was "no match".

So, if it is possible to store such a setting, how must I do please?

Many thanks in advance. Have a nice day. Chris D
