Jaws 11 Pac Mate remote and speech from computer

Hi,
Quite often I use my Pac Mate running firmware 4.1 as a braille device with
jaws, by using Pac Mate remote.
I setup JAWS so
Try remote speech on startup is not checked, and try remote braille at
startup is checked.
When I start Pac Mate remote Brailles comes up on the Pac Mate, but there
is no speech from the computer speakers, even though the settings should
make jaws behave this way, and it has worked in this way in the earlier
versions of JAWS.
