So, just modify it in the Ms Word JDF with Insert-d; and do not press
ctrl-shift-d.  (The reason you would add a space, is that it is Á on its
own, which you specified.)  Get familiar with the JAWS dictionary
facility.

Just one more thing. i should probably let you know that this only
happens
in MS Word. If I'm on the web and reading something, that particular
character gets pronounced correctly, depending on whatever language I've
got
running, be it French or Spanish, etc.
