I use the Soundblaster Audigy and found that many of its features are
accessible through the control panel. I have two folders(Audio HQ &
Sounds and Audio Devices) in there which have JFW friendly dialogues that
allowed me to do things like play with all of the playback effects, control
recording volume and configure the speakers(stereo, 5.1 etc). I'd suggest
those of you with the Soundblaster Live might want to look around in
control panel and see what you can find that is similar.

i've got a sound blaster live and jaws doesn't read any of the software
that comes with it. haven't found a way round it yet.
