Hi Steve,

Thanks I have got as far as hitting say the button for the common ports
scan. I hit enter on it and I get the blurb about reverse dns look up or
something. I cannot find the results of the port scan with jfw.

Pranav,

Go to GRC.com. After a small blurb about his hard disk utility, you will
see
his page load. Find the shieldsUp link and press enter.

Now, you can use the forms field f key to find the proceed button. Press
spacebar on it.

Now, you will have several buttons available for different aspects of the
ShieldsUp tests. There are file-sharing, common ports probe, all service
ports probe, Messenger spam probe, browser header, or a custom port edit
field
where you can enter any port number from 0 to 65000 followed by the custom
port button.

To activate any of these, find the button you are interested in. It is
recommended that new users start with file-sharing and then common port
probe.
So, find file-sharing button using your f key. Route JFW to PC with the
insert-minus key. Using a rapid doble-click of the left-mouse emulation
key
with the numpade slash key.

You will soon see the results on the web page.

Hope this was helpful.
