Subject: JFW and WordPad oddity

Hi, listers,

A friend of mine has just installed the patch for Jaws 4.51. So he is now =
using Jaws 4.51.131. When in WordPad in Win XP he writes some text then =
saves his document then goes back and reads what he has written. In a =
word or two Jaws does not read a letter of a particular word. When =
arrowing over the word it looks like a letter is missing because Jaws says =
=22blank=22. But the letter is actually there because if he retypes that =
letter, the word now contains two of those letters.
For example, he might write the word cat but after saving the document he =
might hear c t. So, thinking the letter a is missing he puts the a back =
into cat. But when he reads it again Jaws reads =22caat=22.

This oddity only began happening after we installed the patch to Jaws =
4.51.131.

Does anyone know why this happens and how to correct it?

Thanks

Sincerely,
