JFW and Generating keys in putty

Hi all,

I am trying to generate ssh keys in Putty. One step is to move the mouse to 
generate some randomness in a blank area of the screen. How does one get 
around this? I don't see any keyboard way of doing this and JFW does not 
tell me where the blank area is.
Note:
I am using putty in an attempt to access cvs on sourceforge.
