RE: JFW and DecTalk USB

Are they using a COM port emulating USB driver?  If so, is anything
preset to a certain COM port number?  (I have this issue with a USB GPS
device which does just this).  Depending on what COM ports you already
have operational, it automatically sets itself up to be the next
available COM port, so it could vary from one PC to the next, and even
one session to the next.
