They could do both--impress the sighted world, and make it accessible, but
implementing MSAA is not something they are interested in.

You are absolutely correct with regard to Intuit's attitude. I even spoke
with, about three years ago, someone who is supposed to be in charge of
programming. His attitude was that Intuit was, and, I imagine, still is,
more interested in impressing the "sighted world" than making their
programs
accessible.
I still use QuickBooks, but it isn't easy and I'm not a script writer;
although I wish I were.

I think while bombarding FS might help, the bigger problem is Intuit who
makes Quicken. My understanding is they know their product isn't
accessible for people who are blind and they really don't seem to care.
