They could do both--impress the sighted world, and make it accessible, but implementing MSAA is not something they are interested in.

Ray, You are absolutely correct with regard to Intuit's attitude. I even spoke with, about three years ago, someone who is supposed to be in charge of programming. His attitude was that Intuit was, and, I imagine, still is,more interested in impressing the "sighted world" than making their programsaccessible. I still use QuickBooks, but it isn't easy and I'm not a script writer; although I wish I were. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ray Campbell Sent: Tuesday, August 26, 2008 8:48 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: JFW, FS, and quicken Hi. I think while bombarding FS might help, the bigger problem is Intuit who makes Quicken. My understanding is they know their product isn't accessible for people who are blind and they really don't seem to care.
