Larry,

I installed JAWS 10 from the CD and almost everything works very well with
XP Home. The only problem I have found is that when using Microsoft Outlook
and replying to message JAWS will go into some sort of catatonic chock after
a fairly long reply.

I just switch to JAWS 9 when I am going to do a lot of email work.

JAWS 10 *does* make working on the web a whole lot easier as it puts forms
mode on and you don't have to guess whether or not you need to hit *enter*
before trying to enter text in an edit field.

I wonder if there is a later version of 10 which may have addressed this
problem?

I know you said that you're using JAWS 9, but have you ever installed JAWS
10, even if you removed it afterward?

What version of MS-Word - 2003, 2007?

Dave

Hi Folks,

I am using Jaws 9 and word XP. Recently Jaws when in say all skips over
paragraph sized passages of text.

I have maximized and refreshed to no avail.

Font is Times New Roman, type size is 12PT and the chosen attribute is
Bold.

I can use the down-arrow and read through the document one line at a time or
I can use CTRL+down arrow and read one paragraph at a time.

I am up for any ideas.

TNX

Larry
