I hate to break it to you, but I'm afraid, as far as I know, that the answer is no. It is unfortunate, imo, that many of those who are using older versions of JAWS are essentially forced to find some way of upgrading, but technology moves forward, and inevitably, there is always someone who is unable to keep up. Basically, the deal is that, if anyone is running a JAWS version older than 7.0, they will unfortunately need to use something like Windows 2000, ME, NT, or XP. If this individual needs to use Vista, he is unfortunately going to have to upgrade to at least JAWS 8. The only newer version of Outlook to my knowledge is 2007, which JAWS 5 will most certainly not work with.
