First try what I've been told to do by FS.

Go to JAWS, then select the Options menu. Then Manage Applications. Then
Uncheck anything you can do without, especially those applications that you
might suspect.

This just temporarily prevents JAWS from using these specific scripts and
dictionaries.

NOTE - do not press the button to remove them; just Unchecked them.

Then press OK to save.

Run for a while to see if this clears it up. If so, then start adding them back
in, just a couple at a time until you find the offending application scripts.

IF you do find one that's causing the problem, then I recommend you just delete
all the relevant files except for the .JDF (dictionary) file from inside your
<username>\settings\ENU folder.

Subject: JFW 11 and windows Vista problem

I am running the latest version of JFW 11 and Windows Vista. I am getting the
windows pop-up that says that the application file for jaws has stopped
working. This happens a lot, and JFW goes silent and I have to try and restart
it to see what's actually happened. Is anyone else having this problem? I had
this problem with JFW 10 a few times, but nothing like what is happening with
JFW 11. I have tried to re-install JAWS, but that didn't seem to help. Any
suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
