Obviously, FS still hasn't identified the problem which causes JAWS to go silent on the Copy or Cut command. That's why they added the ability for JAWS to announce the contents of the clipboard in version 10. But what a wacky keystroke combination.

Hi, yes, this will seem a very valuable new feature, particularly at those
times when JAWS went silent on us when we used the cut/copy commands. I
think the keystroke's a bit awkward though, I mean, who's able to press
Windows Insert X? Of course we can change that at our own will, but I
suggest you practice this key combo before the public beta gets released
<smiles>. Just my £0.02 worth.

Rose, what I just remembered is the ability to read what's on the clipboard
with a single key combo. Forgetting what I have copied or having failed to
copy something are endless sources of frustration.

Well, I listened to the FS podcast about Jaws 10 and I think it is
going to be well worth the SMA. The forms mode alone would make it a
worthwhile upgrade. I work with an app at work that spends about 90%
of the time in forms mode, however, when I sometimes have to go to a
database connected with the product Jaws exits forms mode, I
inevitably am wanting to type in the search for the doctor's name and
forget to turn it on and end up in an entirely different field. This
can happen several times a day, and that despite using Jaws since they
introduced forms mode in about 1999.
Annoying, time-wasting in my humble opinion so that feature alone will
be worth the upgrade, then add some of the other tweaks and it will
probably be one of the best in years.
