You beat me to the punch Troy! I was just about to post that same question to the list. I just recently installed JAWS5 on a laptop and that's when I noticed that the silence speech (control key) and reading interrupt were sometimes very sluggish -- which can be very exasparating! I'm wondering if there is a way to "bump up" JAWS processing priority on XP systems. I'm not necessarily suggesting that'll solve the problem, but its an avenue to try. > From: "Troy Sullivan" <sullidog_2001@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: control key won't cut off speach fast enough > Date: Wed, 25 Feb 2004 16:03:38 -0500 > > Hi all. Anyone else having this problem and is there a fix?
