Hi, ari wrote: "I'm reading a text where, in some words, some letters are capitalised. I need to know what they are, and, when jaws readss lines and stuff, it of course doesn't tell me, leaving me to have to go through the text letter by letter. Is there a way that I can make jaws read to me and somehow alert me what letters or words are in caps? Here is an example: You Must type the command kWfV Emulator. You can see the w and v, as well as the first letter of emulator are capitalised, how can I know that without having to navigate letter by letter, can jaws somehow indicate this to me without interupting my reading?" 1. Open Configuration Manager. 2. Press alt s and t to open the text processing dialogue box. 3. Tab once, and in the combo box choose read by line, words, chars, spell. 4. Press enter to activate ok button. 5. Save the configuration file. Remember if you want it set globally you must press control shift d before doing any of this so that default.jcf is loaded. Hope that helps. -- Chris -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
