Hi,

JFW works quite well with powerpoint. Read the powerpoint presentation in
powerpoint. You need not extract only the text.

Hello List Serve--
Does anybody know how JAWS works with MS PowerPoint? Currently I am
running JFW 5.00.844, and am using Office 2000. If JFW does not work with
PowerPoint, is there a way to extract the contents of a PowerPoint
Presentation and place it in MS Word or MS Excel?

Here is what is going on, I am taking some business classes which The Small
Businessman Association has urged me to take prior to me attempting to
procure a loan. At these classes, most of the handouts are gone over in
class with a PowerPoint Presentation. Currently, I have two (02)
PowerPoint Presentations from these classes, and if JAWS cannot work with
PowerPoint, is there some way to extract the contents of these PowerPoint
files and put them into MS Word or Excel?

Any assistance I can get would be helpful. Either reply to me on or off
the list.

Thanks,

Beto Escobar III, LMSW
