Well, what you do is the following:

Go to Calendar folder in TreeView
Alt enter to bring up Properties.
Go to Display tab with control tab.
Do alt W to get to view by
You will be in a combo box. Arrow down until you get to Details.
Tab to the OK button and press enter.

That is it. You now have a ListView similar to the MailBox view.

I also found out that I can do the above in the proxy mode on someone
else's calendar and it only changes the view in my GroupWise session. I
was always concerned that it would change theirs, but I am told that it
doesn't. Now I can find out other people's appointments when
necessary.

HTH.

Eileen,

If you can get that info, I'd appreciate it. So far as I've been able
to rigure out, the calendar is pretty much opac to the blind.

Thanks you any help you can provide.

Clifford

If I understand you correctly, you are talking about reading the items
in your calendar that you are set up for such as meetings, and
reminders? If that is correct, one of the Tech Support people here
helped me a couple of years ago to set mine so that I can read all the
metings, etc that I have accepted. I can ask someone to walk me
through
the view again iff this is indeed what you are talking about.

Let me know if I understand what you are saying correctly.

Thanks,

Gezim,

Jaws will work with the email component of GroupWize, but the calendar
is pretty much inaccessible. You can place items on the calendar for
others to read, but reading a calendar to see what's on it is pretty
much a joke.

I believe there was someone in Canada trying to write scripts for it,
but I don't know if they every came about.

Pretty much all versions of jaws work with the current level of
GroupWize. However, there was a rumor that Freedom Scientific Was
going
to drop support for GroupWize because Novelle wasn't helpful and few
people use it.

Dear all,
Can anybody tell me if JAWS works with Groupwise, and if yes, which
JAWS version do I need to have? The reason I am asking is that they
have
installed Groupwise at my work, and I am the only one in the network
still working with the old system.

I am looking forward to your answers.

With best regards,
Gezim
