Hi Grant,
Try setting the changes you want in Verbosity, exiting JAWS and reload it.
I'm thinking that something in the config file isn't loading, so that it
will reflect your new settings. If that doesn't work, try making the
changes in Configuration Manager, exiting JAWS and reloading it. If that
doesn't work, try threatening it. Grin.
