Hi, this happens most often when you have a program that is starting in
the startup group that is conflicting with jaws. Check to see what you
have loaded at startup if the software you installed for your cable put
things in your startup group turn them off and see if things work
better.

Subject: JAWS Not Responding

Hello All,
I am using JAWS 4.51 pro with Windows XP pro and have recently went
to a cable broadband internet connection. When JAWS first comes on it
does not want to respond. I have to turn JAWS off then back on and at
that point it seems to work fine. Does anyone know what may be
happening? Is there a setting in JAWS, maybe, that I might be missing
to select or not select? Please help me. This on off stuff is getting
old. Thanks in advance for the help.
    Kari
