Mostafa,

I read your message in too much of a hurry, and I've been reminded that we're talking about two different dictionaries. I don't know if my original suggestion, copied under this message, will be relevant to your situation.

One other thing you might try is the online version of the dictionary you bought, just in case it gives you a feel for how it's supposed to work. What I believe is the correct spelling of your dictionary and the Web address are as follows:

On my copy of the Random House, you start typing the word in that edit field. Random House will anticipate the word you are seeking and will give you possibilities as you type. I suggest you listen as you type in case the word you want appears. When you've finished typing the word you want defined or your word is spoken, tab three times into the definition field.
