Lois,
My understanding is that they work with the SAPI synthesizer only, not
Eloquence. Is that correct; and, if so, will the SAPI synthesizer provided
with JAWS 8.0 allow for use of a sound card other than the Windows default
card?

Yes, the realspeak voices are on the second disk you'll reaceive in the
shipment of Jaws 8. They are installed separately. Look in What's new.
