Milton and others:
I use Windows 98 SE with Jaws 5.00844 and a Powerbraille 80. I use the
Powerbraille's parallel port and it works fine. The way I have it set up is
this:
One cable goes from Com1 (serial port) of the computer to the parallel port
of the Powerbraille. Another cable goes from the Powerbraille's printer port
to the braille embosser. I use a VersaPoint Duo. I haven't had any problems
with these connections.
